Our Story
Our story begins more than 60 years ago in a small boutique in Hobart, Indiana. Known then simply as Bridal Boutique, the shop quickly earned a reputation for its expertise, warmth, and deeply personal approach. At a time when woman-owned businesses were rare, it stood as a quiet trailblazer — built on trust, relationships, and a genuine commitment to every bride who walked through the door.
In 2005, Cathy took the reins after working alongside the previous owners, carrying that legacy forward with both respect and vision. In 2010, the boutique found its new home in downtown Valparaiso, offering more space and a fresh look while holding tightly to the values that have always defined us: kindness, connection, and exceptional service.
Today, Catherine’s Bridal Boutique continues to serve not just brides, but their families and the generations that surround them. Mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends all become part of the experience — often returning years later for new milestones, new memories, and new celebrations.
Cathy is the heartbeat behind it all — equal parts strategist, stylist, and storyteller. For over 20 years, she has guided brides through one of life’s most meaningful moments with empathy, intuition, and just the right amount of sparkle.
